We use high tech videoscopes and boroscopes. With the extensive sets of inspection lenses and special lenses for measuring, we can inspect all types and brands of engines.
We normally use a wide screen monitor placed at the engine to display the endoscopic picture as clear as possible. Using various rigid endoscopes, whether or not fitted with adjustable prisms and with flexible videoscopes we are capable to achieve a bright and clear picture of the inside engine / gearbox / reduction gear. Our sets of endoscopes consist of different diameters and lengths so we are able to apply the most suitable boroscope or videoscope for each particular situation. We are equipped with various types of portable light sources, each to be used for a specific purpose. The images are processed in the final report and are normally printed in an MDI report, that later can serve as a reference to developments in the engine over a given time - trend analysis.
In our specially equipped service bus, several CRT / TFT / LCD screens available to release the engine to draw, this one can watch the inspector that his work is hindered.
In addition to your condition based maintenance our inspections are of great support and value.
We inspect and diagnose the complete marine propulsion systems After this inspection and the sea trial we provide a clear report about the condition of the propulsion system.
Using modern combustion analyzers we get an accurate picture of the progress of combustion in your engine. Also we apply Shock Pulse Measurements to determine the intensity of combustion proces, which we apply mainly to those engines not equipped with decompression valves and often not with the exhaust temperature measurement per cylinder. It is important to determine in what condition the engine (injection equipment etc) is vevindt and to determine whether by making adjustments the combustion improves and fuel consumption drops. As a result fouling and wear on the engine decreases. Our combustion analyzers are verified at site / on the job using our certified callibration instruments.
